The Instructor Career Progression Plan aims to develop the skill set of our pilots to prepare them for the next step in their aviation career.
The Company operates a Flight Instructor Flying Scheme that provides access to discounted rates for self-development training.
Upgrades will be offered to instructors who continually meet performance requirements and have met the Part 61 minimum regulatory requirements as the need arise. The cost of each upgrade training course, inclusive of a flight test, is covered by CSWAFC.
As an alternative to a quick progression to the airlines, instructors may opt for a long-term tenure with CSWAFC via the Flight Examiner Rating path. Highly experienced instructors may also be given the opportunity to gain this rating.
Opportunities to expand experience in other roles may be offered including, but not limited to Ground Training Manager, Senior Instructor, and Internal Training & Checking Instructor.
