October 30, 2018

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018, China Southern West Australian Flying College (CSWAFC) is currently undergoing a major operational review and shall shortly reopen its operations for flight instruction. The College will operate under a new Part 141 and 142 Certificate. At this time, we are seeking expressions of interest from Flight Instructors for a number of job opportunities, over all grades and experience. It is anticipated that the positions will be placed for the re-start of the College during September 2018.

The College is located in beautiful Perth, Western Australia and enjoys stunning scenery and some of the world’s best beaches. The blue skies of Perth average 8.8 hours of sunshine per day, which equates to around 3,200 hours of annual sunshine, and 139 clear days annually, making it the sunniest capital city in Australia. In these first rate flying conditions, we exclusively train student pilots for China Southern Airlines.

China Southern Airlines is the world’s sixth largest airline by the number of passengers carried and ranked fifth largest by fleet size. So there will always be a demand for our students. Canadian-based CAE, one of the world’s premier flight training organisation’s and flight simulator manufacturers, is also an investment partner in the College.

It is our mission to provide the highest quality instruction to our students while adhering to outstanding levels of commitment to safety, professionalism and employee development. We are very proud to say that a lot of our former Flight Instructors have gone on to achieve professional careers with both regional and international airlines including Regional Express, Alliance, Qantas and Virgin to name but a few.
